1 cup Plain yogurt, 2% M.F. (plain)
2 tbsp Granulated sugar
1 tbsp Honey
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes (crushed)
426 gm Chickpeas, canned, low sodium (rinsed and drained)
1 tsp Cumin (ground)
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1/2 tsp Ginger, dried (ground)
1 large Egg
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/2 cup Cilantro (coriander) (chopped fresh)
2 green onion (stem) Green onion (thinly sliced)

Instructions


  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. Prepare the sauce by combining yogurt, sugar, honey, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Refrigerate until serving.
  2. Place chickpeas, cumin, salt, garlic powder, and ginger powder in a food processor and process until finely ground. Add egg and baking soda; pulse until blended. Transfer to a bowl and stir in cilantro and green onions.
  3. Grease the tray of the air-fryer basket with a little oil. Form the chickpea mixture into balls using a tablespoon and flatten slightly. Add in batches onto the greased air-fryer tray. Cook until lightly browned, 5-6 minutes. Serve with sauce.
