2 cup packed | Coconut meat |
1/2 cup | Coconut milk, sweetened |
1 tbsp | coconut milk powder |
1 capsule | Probiotic capsule (contents in capsule) |
1 drop(s) | Lemon balm, essential oil |
1 whole lime(s) | Lime juice (fresh) (juiced) |
1 tbsp | Coconut syrup/nectar (or honey or maple syrup) |
1 tsp (level) | Psyllium seed husk (ground) |
Place coconut meat, coconut milk, coconut milk powder and contents of probiotic capsule into the blender and blend until smooth.
Transfer to a 1 litre mason jar and cover with mesh cloth or nut bag and secure with elastic band. Place in cupboard or warmer area of home - not hot, just warm, and leave for 24 hours to ferment. Check that the mix has risen and bubbles are visible.
Transfer mix back into blender and add lemon oil, lime juice, coconut nectar and ground psyllium seed husk. Blend until very smooth.
Eat right away or store in fridge in an airtight container for approximately 1 week.
Add protein ( collagen, hemp, nuts, seeds) as needed and desired before serving.
