Baked Sesame Ginger Miso Tofu

Ingredients


454 gm Tofu, regular, extra firm
2 tbsp Sesame oil (toasted)
3 tbsp Soy sauce, tamari (or gluten-free Braggs Liquid amino acids)
1 tbsp Miso paste
4 slice Ginger root (thin slices)
2 clove(s) Garlic
1 tbsp Rice vinegar (optional)
2 tsp Chili paste, Gourmet Garden ((all optional))
1 tbsp Sesame seeds

Instructions


  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. Blot the block of tofu with paper towels. Press the tofu gently to release some liquid, blotting as you go.
  3. Cut tofu into pieces (strips, cubes, squares or fillets) about 3/4 -1 inch thick.
  4. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  5. Combine ingredients to make marinade.
  6. blend ingredients (except sesame seeds) together in a blender until smooth, pour over tofu, coating all sides well. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.  Bake 25-35 minutes, checking halfway through, and for extra crispy broil for a few minutes. Enjoy!!
