1/4 cup | Tigernut flour |
1/2 cup | Coconut flour |
1/2 cup | Cocoa powder, unsweetened |
1 tsp | Baking soda |
4 medium | Banana (s) (ripe, mashed with a fork) |
1/4 cup | Coconut oil |
2 medium | Egg |
1/2 cup | Dark chocolate chips |
1/4 cup | Hazelnuts (chopped) |
1 pinch | Himalayan sea salt |
Preheat oven to 325F. Grease a 9x 9 inch baking pan with oil or butter.
In a large bowl, combine the tigernut flour, coconut flour, cocoa powder and baking soda
In another bowl, combine the mashed bananas, coconut oil and eggs and mix well until well combined
Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir well until everything is well combined. Transfer batter to prepared baking pan.
Sprinkle chocolate chips, hazelnuts, and a pinch of sea salt on top of the batter and lightly press down on the toppings
Bake for 25 minutes, allow to cool before slicing
