Black Bean Brownies

This fudgy and decadent chocolate treat is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth!

Ingredients


1 1/2 cup Black beans, canned (or one 15 oz. can, drained and rinsed)
2 tbsp Cocoa powder, unsweetened
1/2 cup Quick oats, gluten free, dry
1/4 tsp Salt
1/3 cup Maple syrup (pure; honey)
2 tbsp Coconut sugar
1/4 cup Avocado oil (or coconut)
2 tsp Vanilla extract, pure
1/2 tsp Baking powder
1/2 cup Dark chocolate chips, vegan

Instructions


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine all ingredients, except the chocolate chips, in a food processor and blend until smooth throughout.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips, then pour the batter into the baking pan. 
  4. Cook the black bean brownies for 15-18 minutes, then let cool at least 10 minutes before cutting.
