Chai tea and fruit juices make this festive hot drink a must-serve at your next holiday gathering.
Ingredients
3 cup
Water
10 gm
Chai tea leaves
(about 4 black chai tea bags)
8 cup
Apple cider
(or apple juice (64 ounces))
2 cup
Cranberry juice (unsweetened)
1/2 cup
Orange juice
4 stick(s)
Cinnamon
(3 inch; pieces)
3 clove
Cloves
1 tsp
Cinnamon
(or fresh cranberries)
Instructions
Bring the water to boiling in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Add tea bags. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Discard the tea bags.
In a 6- to 8-quart pot, combine apple cider, cranberry juice, orange juice, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and the steeped tea. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Discard the cinnamon sticks and cloves. Serve warm. If desired, garnish with additional cinnamon sticks and/or cranberries.

Tip
To make ahead: Prepare cider as directed; cool. Transfer to an airtight container; cover. Chill for up to 3 days. Serve chilled, or transfer to a large Dutch oven and heat through.
