One of the all-time best fat-burning breakfasts ever! Simplicity at its best.
Ingredients
1 tbsp
Butter, unsalted
4 medium
Egg
4 thick slice
Bacon
8 tomato
Cherry Tomatoes
(halved, optional)
1 dash
Salt and pepper
(to taste)
1 tbsp
Parsley, fresh
(optional, finely chopped)
Instructions
Fry the bacon in a pan on medium-high heat until crispy. Put aside on a plate. Leave the rendered fat in the pan.
Crack your eggs into the bacon fat (you can also crack them into a measuring cup and carefully pour into the pan to avoid splattering hot fat).
For sunny side up eggs - fry them one side covering the pan with a lid to make sure they get cooked on top. For eggs cooked over - flip them after a few minutes and cook for another minute.
Fry the tomatoes at the same time.
Season with salt and pepper and garnish with parsley (optional).
