These delicious bars are made with oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, and cranberries. Low histamine & FODMAP friendly!
Ingredients
1/4 cup
Coconut oil
1/4 cup
Maple syrup, pure
2/3 cup
Rolled oats- Gluten Free
1/4 cup
Oat bran, gluten-free, dry
1/4 cup
Cranberries
(dried; chopped)
1/2 cup
Sliced almonds
1/2 cup
Sunflower seeds
Instructions
Line 8 x 8-inch pan with parchment paper
In a medium saucepan, add coconut oil and golden syrup over medium-low heat until oil melts.
Add in oats and oat bran stirring for about 5-8 minutes to slightly softened oats.
Take off heat and fold in cranberries, nuts, and seeds.
Place mixture in square pan and top with another piece of parchment paper.
Press parchment paper very firmly into the pan to create a firmly packed granola bar.
Place pan in the refrigerator to cool.
Cut cooled bars carefully into 12 servings. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and layer parchment paper between bars to prevent them from sticking to each other.
