5 medium | Apple (sliced) |
2 tbsp | Coconut oil |
1/2 whole lemon(s) | Lemon juice |
1 tsp | Cinnamon |
1/2 tsp | Nutmeg, ground |

1 pinch | Salt (to taste) |
1. Pre-heat your oven to 375F degrees.
2. Give your apples a rinse and then slice them up using your favourite method. Half moons work great.
3. Place your apple slices in a bowl along with melted coconut oil, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract and salt. Give it all a really good mix and then put it all in a pie dish or a baking dish.
4. Bake for 25-35 minutes until the apples are soft / fork tender. Let it cool for a few minutes and serve!
Quick Tips:
You can add your choice of chopped nuts and seeds in the last 4-5 minutes of baking.
