2 fillet | Basa fish (fresh or frozen and thawed) |
1 tbsp | Soy sauce, tamari |
1 tbsp | Sesame oil |
1 tsp | Rice wine vinegar |
2 clove(s) | Garlic (sliced) |
1 piece, 1-inch | Ginger root (sliced into matchsticks) |
1. Preheat oven to 350FºF
2. If you are using a thawed fillet, gently squeeze out excess water and pat dry with a paper towel. Place basa fillets into a metal or glass baking dish.
3. In a small bowl. mix together the tamari, sesame oil and rice wine vinegar. Evenly pour the mixture over the basa fillets.
4. Evenly sprinkle garlic and ginger on the basa fillets.
5. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20-30 minutes or until fish reaches an internal temperature of 145F.
