Boil 1 L of filtered water in a kettle or on the stove top.
Meanwhile, slice 4 jujubes into halves, there is no need to remove the pits.
Wash a 1-inch piece of ginger and cut into thin slices
Place the chopped jujubes and ginger into a tea pot or french press. Cover and steep for at least 5 minutes before serving.
Jujubes, also known as red dates can be found at health food stores or any Asian grocery store.
