A simple and healthy oatmeal recipe featuring classic gingerbread spices such as ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Low FODMAP & Gluten-Free! Vegan option.

Ingredients


1/3 cup Quick oats (quick)
1/2 medium Banana (s)
1/4 tsp Ginger, ground
1 dash Cinnamon
1 dash Nutmeg, ground (small sprinkle)
tsp Cloves (small sprinkle; ground)
1 tsp packed Brown sugar (optional)
1 tbsp Almond butter

Instructions


  1. Pour the oats into a large bowl with 2/3 cups of water. Stir. Cook in microwave for 45 seconds. Mash banana and stir in. Cook in microwave for 35-45 more seconds. Watch carefully to avoid the oats boiling over the side of the bowl.
  2. Mix in the spices. Sprinkle brown sugar on top. Drizzle almond butter over the oatmeal.
