1 cup | Almond milk, unsweetened (Use other milk if you prefer- cow's milk) |

1 tbsp | Almond butter |
1 tbsp | Cacao powder, raw |
2 tbsp | Whey protein powder, unflavoured (or 2 tbsp hemp seeds or other unsweetened protein powder) |
2 tsp | Swerve Sweetener, confectioners (to taste, can sub stevia or monkfruit) |
Combine all ingredients except Swerve with 3-4 ice cubes in a blender until smooth. Taste and add Swerve if desired.
For other family members: add banana for more sweetness if desired.
If you're feeling adventurous...add a handful of fresh baby spinach. It will change the colour but not the flavour.
Swerve is a no calorie sweetener made from erythritol but you can also use stevia or monkfruit sweetener.
Use unsweetened, unflavoured protein powder.
