Mixed Melon Punch

Ingredients


1/4 whole melon Watermelon
1/4 medium melon Honeydew melon
2 fruit Lime
1 l Seltzer water
2 cup Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions


  1. Remove large, black seeds from the watermelon. 
  2. Cut four triangles of watermelon for garnish and set aside. 
  3. Using a melon baller, scoop out the remaining watermelon from the rind. Place in a punch bowl or a jug.
  4. Remove seeds with a spoon from the honeydew melon. 
  5. Using a melon baller, scoop out melon balls and add to bowl with watermelon.
  6. Rinse lime with hot water and pat dry. Using a heavy-duty vegetable peeler, remove the peel in thin spirals. Set aside as a garnish. 
  7. Juice both limes and add to the jug or punch bowl. 
  8. Top with seltzer water and add ice cubes. 
  9. Garnish each drink with reserved lime zest spirals and melon triangles.

 

Notes:

  • Add a couple of drops of sugar-free sweetener, to taste, if needed.
  • Other optional garnishes or additions include mint leaves and cucumber slices!
