This hearty oatmeal recipe is quick and easy to prepare and will keep you feeling full and energized in the morning.
Ingredients

Water
|
1 dash

Salt
|
1/2 cup

Rolled oats, dry
(gluten-free, if necessary)

1 tbsp

Peanut butter, smooth
|
1/2 tsp unpacked

Brown sugar
(optional)

Instructions
If preparing in the microwave:
- Add all ingredients to a small bowl and microwave for 2 minutes.
If preparing on the stovetop:
- Add the water and salt to a small pot and bring to a boil.
- Add oats to the boiling salted water, reduce heat to low, and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Add the peanut butter, brown sugar, banana, and strawberry slices. Cook for 2 more minutes.
- Serve!
Notes:
Quick Tips:
- For more protein, add a teaspoon of hemp hearts or chia seeds, or a 1/2 scoop of protein powder.
- No bananas or strawberries? No problem! Swap in some blueberries and raspberries, peaches, or apple or peach slices instead.
