One Pot Teriyaki Rice Bowls - An easy easy dinner for busy nights!

Ingredients


100 gm Chicken breast, boneless, skinless (small breast)
4 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup Wild rice, cooked
2 cup Stir-fry vegetable mix (bags asian medley frozen)
1 dash Salt and pepper (to taste)
1 green onion (stem) Green onion (garnish with; (optional))
1 tsp Soy sauce, low sodium

Instructions


  1. In a large skillet, cook chicken and 4 tablespoons teriyaki sauce over medium heat until chicken is white.
  2. Add rice and water and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and cover for 5 minutes. Add frozen vegetables, remaining teriyaki sauce, and brown sugar (if you want it sweeter). Cover and cook for 5 more minutes or until rice is cooked.
  4. Remove from heat, stir and let sit for 5 minutes to let water absorb.
  5. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
