Ingredients


1 medium slice Whole wheat baguette
1 tbsp Tomato pizza sauce, canned
2 tbsp Mozzarella cheese, partially skimmed

Instructions


1. Preheat the broiler on high. 

2. Slice the whole wheat baguette into 1 medium piece and spread on a little pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese

3. Place onto a pie plate or baking sheet and pop under the broiler set on and bake for 2-3 minutes

Notes:

Pizza Toast is the perfect quick and easy snack or meal. It is versatile and can be tailored to your liking with different toppings. It is also a great way to use up leftover pizza sauce and cheese. 

Optional toppings: 

  • pepperoni
  • sausage
  • veggies

You can even serve it with 1 cup of fruit for an easy toddler meal.
