Ingredients
341 gm
Raspberries
(fresh)
1/2 cup
Water
(chilled)
1 6-9 drops (tbsp sugar)
Stevia sweetener, liquid
(more or less, too taste)
1 cup
Lemon juice
(fresh; chilled)
1 l
Seltzer water
(chilled)
8 cube(s)
Ice cubes
(optional)
8 leaf
Mint, fresh
(for garnish; optional)
4 lemon wedge
Lemon
(for garnish, optional)
Instructions
Place raspberries in a food processor and pulse until pureed.
Force raspberry puree through a fine-mesh strainer into a bowl, to catch the seeds.
In a large pitcher, whisk together water and sweetener.
Stir in the seedless raspberry puree and lemon juice.
Pour in the seltzer water and gently stir.
Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint and a lemon wedge.
Notes:
Make sure to use fresh raspberries for the puree, as frozen raspberries may not have the same vibrant flavor.
If you prefer a smoother texture, you can blend the raspberry puree for a longer time or use a blender instead of a food processor.
Adjust the amount of sweetener according to your taste preference. You can use honey, agave syrup, or any other sweetener of your choice.
Lemon juice adds a bright citrusy flavor that complements the raspberries well. You can adjust the amount of lemon juice depending on how tart you want the drink to be.
When adding the seltzer water, pour it slowly to prevent excessive fizzing and overflow. Gently stir to combine all the ingredients.
Adding fresh mint leaves and a lemon wedge as a garnish not only enhances the presentation but also adds a refreshing aroma to the drink. You can also muddle a few mint leaves in the pitcher before adding all the ingredients for a stronger mint flavor.
The raspberry lemonade can be served immediately, but it also tastes great when chilled in the refrigerator for a few hours to allow the flavors to meld together.
