1/4 tsp Black pepper
227 gm Broccoli florets (Chopped)
1 tbsp Butter, salted (Softened)
1 cup, shredded Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp Salt
6 medium slice(s) White bread

Instructions


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Lay out the broccoli florets on a baking sheet, and toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast in the oven for 8 – 10 minutes.
  3. As you heat a skillet over medium-low heat, spread butter on each slice of sprouted wheat bread. Place four of the slices buttered side down, and top with half the cheese, then roasted broccoli, and the remaining cheese. 
  4. Top with bread slices, buttered side up. Carefully move sandwiches to the skillet, and fry for a couple minutes on each side. 
  5. The bread will be nicely browned and crispy, and the cheese will be melted.
