Ingredients


2 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tbsp Honey
2 tbsp Orange juice ((or pineapple juice))
1 clove(s) Garlic (minced)
1/4 tbsp Mirin
1/2 tbsp Sesame oil
1/2 tsp Cornstarch
1/2 tbsp Vegetable oil
1/2 cup Broccoli florets ((cut into bite sized pieces))
1 small Carrots ((peeled and julienned or shredded))
1/4 medium pepper(s) Red bell pepper ((deseeded and cut into strips))
100 gm shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 dash Salt and pepper (to taste)
30 gm Chinese noodles, chow mein ((I used chow mein; ))
1 green onion (stem) Green onion
1/2 tsp Sesame seeds

Instructions


  1. Combine the sauce ingredients and set it aside.
  2. In a large non-stick skillet or wok, heat up oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side, or just until firm and pink. Set aside on a clean plate.
  3. Add the rest of the oil to the pan and once hot, add the vegetables and garlic and stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, cook your noodles according to the package (mine only requires one minute to cook in boiling water).
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and continue to stir fry to combine, for another minute. Then, add the sauce and stir fry for another minute.
  5. Add the cooked shrimp back to the pan and toss to combine.
  6. Serve as is or garnish with some green onions and sesame seeds.
