In a small bowl, whisk the extra virgin olive oil & red wine vinegar together.
In a large bowl, add the romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Toss to mix.
Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar mixture into the large bowl.

To transform this from a basic side salad to a more filling salad, add more vegetables and/or protein to your liking, such as chicken, tuna, or salmon.
