681 gm Ground turkey, extra lean
1 small Yellow onion (chopped)
1 can(s) (28oz) Diced tomatoes, canned (drained)
1 can(s) (16 oz) Tomato sauce, canned
1 can (4oz) Green chiles, canned
1 can (15oz) Chickpeas, canned, drained (drained)
1 can (15oz) Black beans, canned (drained)
1 can(s) (15 oz) Red kidney beans, canned, drained (drained)
2 tbsp Chili powder
1 tsp Cumin
1/2 cup Red onion (chopped)
1/2 cup Cilantro (coriander) (chopped fresh; for topping)

Instructions


Slow Cooker Directions:

  • Brown turkey and onion in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through. Transfer to the slow cooker with the beans, chilies, chickpeas, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder and cumin, mixing well.
  • Cook on high 6 to 8 hours or low 10 to 12.
  • Garnish with onions, cilantro and your favorite toppings.

Instant Pot Directions:

  • Press saute, spray with oil and brown the turkey and onion, breaking the meat up with a spoon until cooked through. Add the beans, chilies, chickpeas, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder and cumin, mixing well.
  • Cook on high pressure 25 minutes. Natural release.
  • Garnish with onions, cilantro and your favorite toppings


Serving is about 1.5 cups
