1 head | Broccoli, raw (peel stalk and chop into florets) |
1 large head | Cauliflower (chop into florets) |
1 cup slices | Yellow Summer Squash (dice) |
Add/delet any veggies you would like. This is just to get you started.
Steam veggies in a steamer basket until tender (no more than 8 minutes, less is best to retain nutrients).
Toss in avocado oil or olive oil and season with seasoning of your choice (Italian seasoning, garlic, pepper, cardamom, etc.) Can top with 1 tbspn per serving of Primal Kitchen salad dressing in lieu of oil and seasoning if desired.
Aim to consume 1 cup of steamed veggies 2-3x a day.
