Ingredients


1 can drained Tuna, albacore, flaked, canned in water
3/4 cup Celery (chopped)
1 small White onion (chopped)
3/4 cup, shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Butter, unsalted (softened, or margarine)
6 bun Hamburger bun, plain (split or you can use sandwich bread)

Instructions


  1. Preheat oven to 350°. 
  2. In a bowl, combine the tuna, celery, onion, cheese, and mayonnaise. Set aside. 
  3. Spread butter over the cut sides of the buns. 
  4. Spread tuna mixture on bun bottoms; replace tops. 
  5. Wrap in foil. , Bake until the cheese is melted, 15 minutes.

Notes:

  • Serving option: once cooked, add your choice of lettuce, red onion, tomato, sliced pickles, etc to dress up your tuna melt.
