Breathe new life into your old tuna salad with these Tuna Salad Lettuce Wraps with Lemon, Dill and Black Pepper Mayo.

Ingredients


284 gm Tuna (canned; (drained)
1/2 cup Celery (diced)
2 tbsp Mayonnaise
2 tbsp Sour cream, 14% M.F.
1/2 tsp Dill, dried
1/2 tsp Chives
1 tsp Parsley, fresh (fresh chopped; (or 1/2; dried))
1/2 tsp Black pepper (fresh cracked)
1 lemon wedge Lemon
1 pinch Salt
6 leaf Lettuce, romaine ((iceberg, romaine or butter lettuces work well))

Instructions


  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, dill, chives, parsley and black pepper. Taste and add salt and more lemon juice as desired.
  2. Drain any liquid from the tuna and stir it and the diced celery into the mayonnaise mixture. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
  3. Scoop the tuna salad mixture into the lettuce leaves. Top with fresh chopped parsley for garnish and serve with a lemon wedge.
